If you don't have drawings, send in sketches and our engineers will create AutoCAD files. To expedite this process, we maintain a database of all jobs, so if a similar design is entered into our system, we'll first reference existing drawings and often make simple modifications, saving time spent for a total redesign. These savings are passed on to our customers.
In today's world of specialty racks and other products where tight tolerances are critical, some customers require that a prototype is first designed and built. While we are not an engineering design company, we are glad to provide this service to our customers. Any fees applied to a prototype are simply to cover the cost of material and fabrication only and are not for the purchase of the actual design files or drawings. All rights to the design remain the property of Streator Dependable Mfg.
